THIS IS CATO

​My name is Catarina Pinto , better known as CATO and I invite you to explore my work here. I am 25 years old, Portuguese and as they say in my country: “an alfacinha” (means that I am a lettuce, an expression for those who come from Lisbon). I studied Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon and Interactive Environments Design at the Tu Delft University in the Netherlands. I am very interested in the aspect of Design linked to interaction and I try that my work is always connected to human first experiences.

 

​I have a strong interest in photography, which I’ve explored over time. More recently, my focus has shifted towards social and intercultural perspectives. My work is closely connected to proximity and to the relationship between human beings and their surroundings.

In this portfolio you can find my work from very different aspects of Design and my line of work that always tries to connect the functional, rational and engineering side with the sensitivity, creativity and innovation that bring incredible experiences to a human being.
